One Equity Partners’ OMNI Environmental Solutions Completes Asset Exchange Transaction with Select Water Solutions

Within the transaction, OMNI Environmental Solutions is acquiring certain Select Water Solutions’ environmental transportation, logistics and disposal operations in the Bakken, Anadarko Basin and Marcellus/Utica regions and divesting waste disposal infrastructure assets in the Bakken region

NEW YORK & CARENCRO, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--One Equity Partners, a middle market private equity firm, and its portfolio company, OMNI Environmental Solutions, Inc. (“OMNI”) today announced that OMNI has completed a creative, mutually beneficial transaction to acquire certain environmental transportation, logistics and disposal assets from Select Water Solutions Inc. ("Select") and, in an asset exchange, OMNI has divested certain environmental waste management assets in North Dakota to Select.

The strategic asset exchange reflects OMNI’s ongoing, refocused investment in its core environmental services business. The acquisition — including additional facilities, equipment and 250 new employees in the Bakken, Anadarko Basin and Marcellus/Utica regions — is expected to be immediately accretive to OMNI’s operations. Additionally, OMNI’s divestment of non-core Bakken waste disposal assets is consistent with its focused transformation strategy and supports its concentration on high-impact environmental transportation and wellsite services.
