COSTA MESA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Experian today announced that it was ranked 6th in the 2025 IDC FinTech Rankings: Top 100, rising one spot from last year’s rankings and placing in the top-10 global technology providers for the fourth consecutive year. “Experian helps financial services organizations tackle their toughest business challenges by delivering continuous innovation in AI decisioning, advanced analytics, and fraud prevention,” said Alex Lintner, CEO of Experian Technology & Software. “As one of the world’s largest FinTech companies, this recognition underscores how we empower customers globally to accelerate operations, expand financial inclusion, reduce risk with transformative AI, and ultimately drive stronger business results.”

A prime example of how Experian helps its financial services customers replace manual processes with automation and accelerate time-to-market is its recent announcement of Experian Assistant for Model Risk Management, an AI-driven solution that enables financial institutions to govern and manage models more efficiently across the entire model‑development lifecycle. Fully integrated with the Experian Ascend PlatformTM, the solution helps speed model validation, improve auditability and transparency, and reduce regulatory and reputational risk.

“We congratulate Experian for being ranked 6th in the 2025 IDC FinTech rankings,” said Marc DeCastro research director at IDC. “Recognition in the top 10 of the IDC FinTech rankings demonstrates Experian’s commitment to bringing the innovation necessary around areas like AI to keep the financial service industry at the forefront of providing modern digital experiences, technologies and platforms in the industry ecosystem.”

The Fortune 500-style ranking evaluates the top global providers of financial technology based on calendar year revenues from financial institutions for hardware, software and/or services.
