Brightline Expands Family-Centered Mental Health Care with Second Clinic Opening in New York

Brightline gives families affordable, evidence-based services in person and virtually

LONG ISLAND, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brightline, the leading pediatric mental health solution supporting kids, teens, and their parents, today announced the opening of its second in-person clinic at 3000 Marcus Avenue, Suite 3E01, in Lake Success, New York. With this second clinic opening, Brightline continues to offer families flexible, evidence-based mental health care in person and virtually.

Brightline recently opened its first brick-and-mortar clinic in Brooklyn, New York, after successfully delivering virtual mental health care to more than 150,000 families since its founding. The new clinic expansion will serve even more families, many of whom can receive care within their insurance network, as well as expanded treatment options and flexible delivery.

“Our second clinic opening lets us reach even more children and parents in New York and virtually, making family-centered, evidence-based mental health support accessible to more families,” said Brightline CEO and Co-founder Naomi Allen. “I started Brightline based on my own family’s difficulties accessing pediatric mental health support, and we want to ensure that other families have affordable access to clinically sound, outcomes-driven programs. We’re working with insurers to bring these important services in-network to help with affordability.”

Brightline clinics bring together a collaborative team of pediatric therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists experienced in a full spectrum of behavioral and mental health needs.

  • Comprehensive in-person psychological testing for autism, learning disorders, executive functioning, school readiness, giftedness, and more.
  • Children with more common, generalized concerns, including depression and trauma, can receive therapy, psychiatry, and medication management, as needed.
  • Brightline has built four focused programs with the capability to test, diagnose, and treat higher acuity concerns for anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and behavior disorders. Treatment includes therapy, psychiatry, and medication management.
  • Brightline is committed to supporting parents who are carrying the weight of what their kids are going through but don’t always have the tools they need to manage that concern in healthy ways. Parent-centered care is based on the child’s age and stage and the presenting concerns and is clinically informed.
  • Brightline’s care plans are family-centered. Each family receives a personalized care roadmap, and care teams coordinate closely with the child’s pediatrician to align physical and mental health support.

In California, BrightLife Kids, a program by Brightline, is in its second year of a historic partnership with the California Department of Health Care Services and CalHOPE. It offers free behavioral health tools and live coaching to families with children under 13, regardless of income, insurance, or immigration status, and has served more than 250,000 families since its launch. More than 77% of users say that BrightLife Kids is their first and only access to mental health support.
