“We are excited to be back at Pioneer Square this year with all these incredible organizations,” said Dan McMillan, president and chief executive officer at The Standard. "We take pride in helping connect Oregonians with volunteer opportunities at nonprofits that strengthen our communities. Please join us in downtown Portland on Sept. 4 to learn more about all the exciting ways you can get involved."

Participating organizations represent health, human services, education, arts, culture, humanities, the environment, animal welfare and more.

For almost two decades, The Standard Volunteer Expo — the largest of its kind in Oregon — has given volunteers the opportunity to discover ways they can make a positive difference in our communities. This free event kicks off Employee Giving Celebration month at The Standard, which recognizes and celebrates the generosity of employees who donate to their favorite nonprofit organizations through the company’s year-round giving program. Last year, employees raised nearly $6 million (after the company double match) to support 2,739 nonprofits and schools.
