WilliamsMarston Launches Strategic Advisory Board

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WilliamsMarston, a national leader in complex accounting, tax, valuation, and transaction advisory services, is pleased to announce the launch of its Strategic Advisory Board. This newly established board brings together a group of industry veterans whose collective experience will help shape the firm’s strategic direction, support sustained growth, and advance WilliamsMarston’s mission to be the leading advisory partner to rapidly growing companies across the country.

The six inaugural members launching the Strategic Advisory Board are:

  • Robert Bruning, former CFO of two publicly traded companies, and former Managing Partner of EY’s San Diego office. Bruning served high growth companies in the life science, consumer product/retail, hospitality, and technology sectors, and has experience supervising teams in various countries across Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, India and China.
  • Jim Campbell, former Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer at Google/Alphabet. With more than four decades of experience at Intel and Alphabet, Campbell brings exceptional operational and financial leadership across FP&A, systems, audit, and risk management.
  • Bob Johnson, retired Deloitte audit partner, where he spent 40 years advising high-growth public and private companies. Johnson led numerous advisory and audit engagements across multiple sectors including international engagements with teams from over 17 countries.
  • Jim Kroeker, former Vice Chairman of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), former Chief Accountant of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and former Deloitte audit partner. Kroeker brings a depth of technical accounting expertise and regulatory insight, having played a pivotal role in shaping national financial reporting standards.
  • Lisa Lim, retired EY tax partner, where she spent 40 years serving Fortune 100 and high-growth companies across the technology, consumer products, life sciences, and industrial sectors. Known for her global business acumen, Lisa held practice leadership roles in the US and Asia Pacific.  She also served as a global account leader for Fortune 100 companies. She advised boards, audit committees and executive management on transactions, IPO readiness, enterprise risk, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ken Marshall, retired EY audit partner, where he spent almost 40 years advising complex finance organizations across banking, capital markets, data and clearing services, and alternative asset management. Marshall played a key role in building EY’s Americas Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice into a $750 million business, guiding CFOs through transactions, transformations, and operational change.

The Strategic Advisory Board will serve as a catalyst in supporting WilliamsMarston’s growth plan and will collaborate closely with WM’s leadership to identify emerging market trends, deepen client relationships, and mentor the next generation of firm leaders.

“The formation of our Strategic Advisory Board marks a significant milestone in WilliamsMarston’s journey,” said Sanjay Ramaswamy, CEO of WilliamsMarston. “Our esteemed Strategic Advisory Board members are well-respected industry leaders who bring insights, integrity, and impressive track records of leadership and experience, which will be invaluable as we scale the business, expand our service offerings, and continue to attract top-tier talent.”

The SAB will convene quarterly and will engage regularly with WM leadership and client service teams.
