Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation Awards Over $120,000 in Higher Education Scholarships, Marking 18 Years of Community Support

MALVERN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation, proudly announces the latest recipients of its annual scholarship program, awarding more than $120,000 to support the academic goals of outstanding residents. This year’s recipients - selected from communities across Balfour Beatty’s military, residential, and student housing portfolios, demonstrate academic excellence, community engagement, and a determination to achieve meaningful career paths.

Selected based on academic performance, leadership, community service, and personal aspirations, this year’s scholarship recipients are pursuing a diverse range of degrees and certifications in fields such as healthcare administration, nursing, criminology and social work.

“This program is one of the most meaningful ways we give back to our residents,” said Linda Bradley, a Board Member of the Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation. “In line with our We Care culture, we’re not just supporting education—we’re investing in stronger communities.”

“It’s a big relief. Being 8 months pregnant and trying to go to school, the scholarship takes a lot of weight off our shoulders and is a big help,” said Isabelle Scott, scholarship recipient and resident at Minot AFB Homes.

Launched in 2007, the Foundation’s scholarship program has grown steadily, marking its 18th year of support for residents nationwide. To date, more than $1.9 million has been awarded to residents seeking college degrees, technical certifications, and other higher education opportunities.
