To lead this initiative, The Hackett Group® has appointed John K. Thompson, a recognized AI expert, as principal, Gen AI Executive Advisory Program leader. Thompson brings over 38 years of experience in artificial intelligence, data and analytics, having implemented more than 100 AI-driven systems across 20 industries. Prior to joining The Hackett Group®, Thompson led the global AI efforts at EY, where he and his team designed, built and implemented one of the world's largest private and secure Gen AI environments, serving more than 300,000 users worldwide. Thompson is also a bestselling author of five books on AI and analytics and serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan's School of Information.
