Affinity Plus Foundation Welcomes Two New Members to Board of Directors

New leadership brings a passion for education, community impact, and expanding the Foundation’s reach across Minnesota

ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Affinity Plus Foundation is proud to announce the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors: Tim Tacheny, Vice President General Counsel at Affinity Plus, and Jamie Baumann, Winona Branch Manager at Affinity Plus. Both bring a deep commitment to community engagement, financial education, and expanding the Foundation’s impact across Minnesota.

Tim Tacheny joined Affinity Plus in 2022 after serving at the Minnesota Credit Union Network. With a strong background in legal and compliance functions, Tim has played a key role in supporting the Foundation’s annual events and fundraising efforts. His passion for higher education aligns with the Foundation’s mission, particularly its scholarship program.

“I am extremely excited to join the Affinity Plus Foundation Board and help it continue to have a positive impact on local communities,” said Tim Tacheny.

Jamie Baumann has been with Affinity Plus since 2012, leading the Winona branch with a strong focus on community involvement. She has been instrumental in the Foundation’s long-standing partnership with Junior Achievement and has worked to expand scholarship opportunities for students. Her previous board experience with the Houston (MN) Community Food Shelf and Junior Achievement Winona further highlights her dedication to service.
