ReposiTrak Adds 60 New Cheese Suppliers to the Queue for the Rapidly Expanding Food Traceability Network

Ahead of regulatory deadlines, 60 cheese suppliers are queued to join ReposiTrak for its innovative, hardware-free traceability solutions

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ReposiTrak (NYSE:TRAK), the world’s largest food traceability and regulatory compliance network, leveraging its established inventory management and out-of-stock reduction SaaS platform, is proud to add 60 new cheese suppliers to the queue of companies joining the ReposiTrak Traceability Network® (RTN). These companies will efficiently exchange intricate, FDA-required Key Data Elements (KDEs) for each Critical Tracking Event (CTE) in their supply chains, with the goal of meeting traceability requirements before the FDA’s 2028 deadline.

Among them are dairy producers with long-standing traditions. One company, recognized as the oldest cheese producer in the U.S., has been producing high quality cheeses using traditional French techniques for more than 150 years. Another, established in 1973, has become a household name for authentic Mexican-style cheeses, cremas and other perishables. A third is a Midwest based supplier that has spent decades building a reputation for delivering high-quality cheeses and butter to consumers nationwide.

“ReposiTrak uses more than 100 error detection points to find and resolve errors in every traceability data file so that files are as clean and accurate as possible before it reaches the customer,” stated Randy Fields, chairman and CEO of ReposiTrak.

The ReposiTrak Traceability Network requires no additional hardware or software and the ReposiTrak team assists in making the connections needed under the new regulation. Suppliers can connect to an unlimited number of trading partners and share data for a low, flat fee.
