Unite Us Welcomes New Chief Product and Technology Officer

Seasoned technology and healthcare executive, Dale Sanders, joins to drive innovation and impact.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Unite Us, the nation’s trusted technology partner for social care transformation, is excited to announce the appointment of Dale Sanders as its new Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO). With an impressive 40-year career spanning healthcare, government, and technology, Sanders brings deep expertise in data analytics and product innovation to Unite Us as the company continues to expand its social care technology solutions nationwide.

Sanders will lead Unite Us' product and technology strategy, driving its solutions continual cutting-edge and impactful results. His leadership will strengthen the company’s three core strategic pillars—people, technology, and networks—by advancing products that easily connect providers, payers, government agencies, and community-based organizations with individuals who need assistance with non-medical services such as housing and shelter, food insecurity, transportation, and more.

“I came out of semi-retirement to join Unite Us because I believe in the mission, and I believe Unite Us has been at the forefront of transforming how we address social care,” said Sanders. “A few years ago, population health was the soup du jour, but under that model, there was a naive expectation that healthcare providers alone could address social drivers of health—factors that account for 80% of healthcare risk and outcomes. Unite Us has been leading the market by pioneering tech-enabled solutions that seamlessly connect communities, payers, and providers, ushering in a future where social care and healthcare are fully integrated to break the cycle of unnecessary emergency room visits and homelessness.”

As CPTO, Sanders will drive the evolution of Unite Us’ technology vision to ensure our solutions empower partners and the communities they serve. With a strong commitment to a customer-driven approach, he champions collaborative product development—one that is informed by customer input and anticipates market trends. Under his leadership, Unite Us will continue to set the standard for social care transformation by focusing on usability, interoperability, and innovation, to empower stakeholders to seamlessly integrate social and healthcare services, improve care coordination, and drive measurable health outcomes at scale.

“Half of my career, I’ve been a customer and the other half I’ve been a vendor. The development of impactful, convenient products are driven by the people who use them,” said Sanders. “Unite Us is essentially the only company in this emerging space, which means there’s little to no precedence to follow. The only way our product strategy will succeed over the long term is to be driven by the domain experts and customers in social care who know what they need. Our Unite Us team will add a pinch of creative ideas, but fundamentally, we’ll be dogmatically driven by domain and customer expertise.”

Sanders also emphasized his confidence in the company’s leadership and business model. “I have the highest regard for the values, leadership, and ethics of the founders, Dan Brillman and Taylor Justice, who I’ve known for a decade. They are the real deal, and I’m proud to be affiliated with them,” he said. “Unite Us has an incredible business model at a pivotal moment in U.S. healthcare—driven by an honorable mission and led by genuine leaders. That’s a compelling combination I couldn’t resist.”

A Proven Leader in Healthcare and Technology

“Dale Sanders’ unparalleled expertise in healthcare technology, data analytics, and product innovation makes him the ideal leader to drive Unite Us into its next phase of growth,” said Dan Brillman, co-founder and CEO of Unite Us. “His proven track record of transforming complex systems into scalable, high-impact solutions will be instrumental in advancing our technology and expanding our ability to connect people to care. With Sanders at the helm of our product and technology strategy, we are positioned to set a new standard for innovation in social care delivery—empowering our partners, strengthening our networks, and improving outcomes for communities nationwide.”
