UL Solutions Inc. Names New Chief Legal Officer

NORTHBROOK, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UL Solutions Inc. (NYSE: ULS), a global leader in applied safety science, today announced it appointed Scott D’Angelo as executive vice president and chief legal officer, effective April 21, 2025.

D’Angelo’s appointment fills a vacant role and he joins the company’s executive leadership team, reporting to President and CEO Jennifer Scanlon. D’Angelo will oversee the legal, brand integrity, ethics and compliance functions. He most recently served as vice president, chief legal and administrative officer and corporate secretary for CTS Corp., a publicly held global designer and manufacturer of sensors, actuators and electronic components based in Lisle, Ill.

Before joining CTS in 2021, D’Angelo served as counsel for the law firm Baker McKenzie and as vice president, deputy general counsel and chief compliance officer of Fortune Brands Innovations. Prior to that, he served as divisional general counsel and in other senior roles for McDonald’s Corp. over the course of 12 years.
