CP Group Honored With Two 2024 BOMA Miami-Dade TOBY Awards

Recognition highlights CP Group’s leadership in operational excellence and tenant satisfaction

BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CP Group, Florida’s largest office landlord and a prominent owner-operator of office properties throughout the Sunbelt, today announced that both Citigroup Center and One Downtown — two of the firm’s properties in Downtown Miami — were honored with BOMA Miami-Dade’s The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards for Excellence in Building Management. The winners were announced at the recent TOBY Miami-Dade Awards Gala in late January.

  • Citigroup Center, an 810,000-square-foot, 34-story trophy tower and the second-largest Class A office building in Florida, was recognized in the 500,000 - to 1,000,000-square-foot office building category.
  • One Downtown, a 440,000-square-foot, 31-story office tower, won the same award in the 250,000- to 499,999-square-foot office building category.

The TOBY Award is one of the most prestigious accolades in the commercial real estate industry. The program recognizes excellence in building management, operational efficiency, and overall quality in commercial properties to showcase best practices and raise industry standards across the globe. During the competition, a comprehensive evaluation is conducted to assess every aspect of a building's operations such as community involvement, tenant relations, site management, and sustainable policies.

CP Group previously earned a 2023 International Award in the Suburban Office Low-Rise category for Northpoint Center, its three-building, 334,000-square-foot office development in Lake Mary, Fla.

“CP Group is honored to receive this recognition from BOMA for our commitment to creating modern, dynamic workplaces that enhance the tenant experience. These awards are truly a testament to our property management teams' hard work and expertise,” said Angelo Bianco, Managing Partner at CP Group. “We congratulate our fellow honorees and look forward to continuing to cultivate exceptional office environments across our portfolio."

In addition to the TOBY award, One Downtown also obtained the BOMA 360 designation, a performance program that evaluates buildings against industry best practices in six major areas: building operations and management; life safety, security and risk management; training and education; energy; environmental, sustainability and wellness; and tenant/occupant relations and community involvement.

CP Group recently completed an extensive capital improvements program at Citigroup Center, featuring a renovated lobby with an upscale café, executive valet service, and onsite wellness programming for a hospitality-driven tenant experience, in addition to premier, move-in-ready spec suites. The building is also preparing to open Cactus Club Cafe’s first U.S. location in a 10,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor space on the ground floor. Ideally situated at Biscayne Boulevard and SE 2nd Street in downtown Miami, Citigroup Center offers unobstructed Biscayne Bay views, proximity to premier amenities, and easy access to major transit, South Beach, and Miami International Airport.

One Downtown underwent a multi-million-dollar renovation of its own and now features a state-of-the-art fitness center; a conference facility; a 16,000-square-foot penthouse floor; and a rooftop terrace. Situated in the heart of Miami’s Central Business District, just a block from Citigroup Center, the office building provides tenants with walkability to nearly 50 restaurants within a quarter mile, and proximity to attractions like Bayfront Park, the American Airlines Arena, and the Adrienne Arsht Center. Its prime location ensures an easy commute with access to key points including I-95, Brickell Avenue, and the MacArthur Causeway.
