Radial Announces Tom Schmitt as Chief Executive Officer

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Radial, Inc., a bpostgroup company and a leader in eCommerce solutions, today announced the appointment of Tom Schmitt as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective March 17, 2025. With over 20 years of executive leadership experience in the logistics and supply chain industry, Schmitt will focus on driving Radial’s growth, enhancing its fulfillment operations, and strengthening its ability to deliver innovative, scalable solutions for mid-market and enterprise brands.

Schmitt has led major global logistics organizations and brings extensive expertise in supply chain management, eCommerce logistics, and commercial strategy. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Nikola Corporation, an expert in zero-emission transportation solutions.

His previous roles include CCO and a member of the Management Board at Schenker, where he led global sales and marketing, driving €1 billion in growth within a year. He also served as CEO of Purolator, Canada’s largest parcel and freight provider. Schmitt spent 12 years at FedEx, where he was CEO of FedEx Supply Chain, overseeing integrated supply chain solutions that helped businesses scale and optimize their fulfillment operations. He also led FedEx Solutions, developing and executing turnkey supply chain strategies for customers across various industries, positioning FedEx as a key logistics partner for enterprises navigating complex distribution needs.

Beyond his executive roles, Schmitt has served on the boards of several global logistics companies, including Ferguson plc, Cyberport GmbH, and Dicom Transportation Group, further underscoring his extensive industry influence.
