Alliant Insurance Services Adds Industry Leadership to National Commercial Surety Practice; Hires Jeff Leadley, Glenn Pelletiere and Tom Rhatigan

Senior level hires in Chicago and New York bring decades of industry experience and leadership to grow national commercial surety platform

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alliant Insurance Services has hired Jeff Leadley, Glenn Pelletiere and Tom Rhatigan as Senior Vice Presidents in Alliant Specialty, within the company’s national Commercial Surety practice. The commercial surety industry leaders specialize in developing and managing large, complex surety programs for clients across an array of industries.

At Alliant, the three will work alongside national Commercial Surety practice leader Orlando Aguirre to continue growing the platform, which was launched in August 2024.

Based in Chicago, Leadley has 25 years of experience in managing some of the largest and most complex commercial surety programs in the United States. Leadley’s ability to navigate complex surety requirements and develop innovative solutions has positioned him as a highly respected broker in the surety community. Leadley previously served as regional managing director for a global brokerage.

Based in New York City, Pelletiere brings 35 years of commercial surety experience, working primarily with Fortune 500 and large regional organizations. Prior to Alliant, Pelletiere served as Northeast Surety Zone Leader for a global broker, where he focused on providing tailored surety solutions that meet the unique needs of his clients both domestically and internationally. Pelletiere’s commitment to excellence and client-focused approach have earned him a reputation as a trusted advisor in the industry.

Rhatigan is also based in the New York area and brings 28 years of combined surety underwriting and broking experience. He is highly respected by the surety underwriting community and maintains excellent relationships with all major surety carriers. Prior to joining Alliant, Rhatigan spent 24 years with large global brokers, focused on growth and development in the commercial surety space. Rhatigan has expertise in using a combination of surety and letters of credit (LC) to deliver best-in-class programs, both domestically and internationally.
