Media Advisory: FHLB Dallas and Red River Bank Award $145K in Grants to Help Families Resolve Property Title Issues

METAIRIE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and Red River Bank will award $145,080 in Heirs’ Property Program grants to Southeast Louisiana Legal Services ($100,000), East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity ($20,080) and the United Way of Southeast Louisiana ($25,000). The funds will enable these organizations to assist low-income families with preventing and resolving heirs’ property title issues in Louisiana. The funds will also help provide simple wills, healthcare directives, training and education.

The media is encouraged to attend the ceremonial check presentation, which will include representatives from the banks and nonprofits. Learn more about the FHLB Dallas Heirs’ Property Program.
