Easterly Asset Management Appoints Paul Citarell as Senior Vice President of Sales, Northeast

Citarell’s deep industry expertise and strong client relationships to bolster Easterly’s private wealth distribution network in the Northeast region

BEVERLY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Easterly Asset Management (“Easterly”), home to investment teams providing investors with a portfolio of solutions across alternatives, active equity, and active fixed income, today announced the appointment of Paul Citarell, CIMA® as Senior Vice President of Sales, Northeast. In this role, Citarell will be instrumental to Easterly’s distribution strategy in the Northeast, focusing on cultivating and managing client relationships across the firm's mutual funds and private market offerings to RIAs, financial advisors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.

Citarell will report to Phil Juliano, Jr., Head of Sales at Easterly. He brings more than 30 years of investment product and capital markets sales experience with a cultivated private wealth network in the Northeast region. Citarell has an established track record of successfully developing and managing relationships, educating financial advisors on the benefits of diverse investment strategies across alternatives, fixed income, and equities, as well as a wide range of products, including mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and model portfolios.

Citarell has served in senior sales and distribution roles for some of the world’s largest investment management firms. He joins Easterly having spent 18 years at John Hancock Investment Management, the U.S. subsidiary of Manulife Investment Management where he last served as Senior Vice President of Sales. Previously, Citarell served as a Vice President of Sales at Nuveen, and Fisher Investments, respectively, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with RIAs, family offices, and other independent advisor channels. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses, alongside a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation.
