Tri Pointe Homes Breaks Ground on New Community in Heber City, a Milestone for New-to-Utah Builder

New community, The Crossings at Lake Creek, to bring hundreds of homes to in-demand city

HEBER CITY, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tri Pointe Homes (NYSE: TPH), one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, broke ground on what will be one of many new communities it is building in Utah, The Crossings at Lake Creek located in Heber City. The Crossings is a planned community and includes an estimated 139 single-family homes by Tri Pointe Homes. The community’s first homes are anticipated to open for sales in summer 2025.

The groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, Feb. 5 included remarks from Tri Pointe Homes leadership, including Ken Krivanec, Division President for Tri Pointe Homes Washington and Utah, Bryon Prince, VP of Land Acquisition and Development for Tri Pointe Homes Utah, and Matt Cragun, VP of Operations for Tri Pointe Homes Utah.

The Crossings’ Heber City location offers convenient commute times to local employment centers in Salt Lake City, Park City, Provo, and more. Tri Pointe’s home designs at The Crossings boast up to eight bedrooms, outdoor living areas, and up to 5,000 square feet when including finished basements. The community is located at 2732 E Hayloft, Heber City, Utah and the larger planned community is anticipated to feature a future clubhouse, pickleball courts, neighborhood pool, parks, a fishing pond, and 67 acres of open space and trails.

The first of several model homes will be available for viewing at The Crossings in mid- 2025. Tri Pointe Homes anticipates the opening of The Crossings' interest list in the coming month.

Tri Pointe Homes first announced its expansion to Utah in September 2023. Beyond the Heber City location, Tri Pointe Homes will soon be opening new communities in West Jordan and Holladay.
