Bowman Contracted to Provide Aerial Orthoimagery Services for the State of Oklahoma

(the Company or Bowman) (NASDAQ: BWMN), a national engineering services firm delivering infrastructure solutions and program management services to customers who own, develop and maintain the built environment, has been awarded a landmark two-year contract to provide high-resolution aerial orthoimagery for the State of Oklahoma (“State”). This initiative marks the first statewide leaf-off aerial mapping project undertaken in nearly 30 years and will deliver critical geospatial data for use by state agencies, municipalities and the public.

Bowman will utilize advanced high-altitude imaging capabilities, acquired in connection with the purchase of Surdex, to capture four-band, 6-inch resolution digital orthoimagery across approximately 70,000 square miles of Oklahoma during leaf-off seasons when tree cover is minimal. This coordinated timing, combined with real-time ground condition reports from local stakeholders, ensures clear visibility of critical features like creek beds, infrastructure and housing, enhancing the data's accuracy and versatility for various applications. The project will span the entire state, including a one-mile buffer beyond its borders, delivering comprehensive coverage to support both state-level operations and cross-boundary planning efforts.
