AM Best Associate Director to Join Webcast on Trends in Auto Insurance Policy Shopping

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best’s David Blades will join a webcast hosted by P&C Specialist titled, “Will Auto Insurance Policy Shopping Continue to Escalate in 2025?” on Jan. 30, 2025, at 11 a.m. EST.

During the event, Blades, an associate director in AM Best’s Industry Research and Analytics area, will discuss trends in the personal auto insurance market based on carriers’ recent results, as well as other issues in the segment such as rate-setting and use of technology. The webcast is sponsored by LexisNexis Risk Solutions, which noted that the third quarter of 2024 saw the continuation of a multiyear trend of policy shopping growth, with auto policy shopping up by 31% year over year and new policies increasing by nearly 26%. Joining the panel discussion is Chris Rice, vice president, strategic business intelligence, LexisNexis Risk Solutions. The pair will also look at factors likely to influence the auto insurance market in 2025.
