CAN Community Health Moves to New Location in Daytona, Florida, Expanding Access to Compassionate, Comprehensive Care

CAN Community Health has served Volusia County since 2015.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CAN Community Health is proud to announce its move to a brand-new clinic in Daytona, Florida. This move underscores the organization’s commitment to empowering wellness through compassion, community, and equity, and continues to serve as a vital resource for individuals seeking high-quality healthcare services in Volusia County, Florida, since 2015. A grand opening ceremony, ribbon cutting, and tour will take place on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The new, state-of-the-art 12,358 sq. ft. facility will provide comprehensive healthcare offerings, including HIV care and prevention (PrEP, PEP), Hepatitis C, STD testing and treatment, primary care, dental, pharmacy, and mental health services—ensuring accessible, patient-centered support for those in need. By focusing on innovative care delivery, CAN Community Health aims to reduce health disparities, improve patient outcomes, and build healthier communities.

“After a decade, we’re thrilled to expand our services to a new, more accessible location in Daytona,” said Rishi Patel, PharmD, MBA, President & CEO at CAN Community Health. “Our goal is to continue expanding healthcare access and removing barriers so that everyone can receive the quality care they deserve. This move to a new facility brings us one step closer to our mission of ending epidemics and empowering community wellness.”

In addition to in-person services, patients will have access to a range of supportive programs and telehealth options, enabling them to stay connected with their care teams and maintain continuity of care—even when in-person visits may not be possible.

“The new and expanded Daytona clinic reflects CAN Community Health’s dedication to meeting the diverse needs of the community,” said Steven K. Barnett, MD, AAHIVS, Chief Medical Officer at CAN Community Health. “With the addition of dental services and on-site pharmacy access, we are providing essential tools for comprehensive wellness.”

For more than 30 years, CAN Community Health has been at the forefront of providing compassionate healthcare services, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. The new, expanded Daytona clinic continues that legacy, fostering strong community partnerships to ensure that no one falls through the cracks when it comes to accessing critical healthcare services.
