Western Window Systems Selected to Outfit the New American Home 2025 Project

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Western Window Systems, a leading manufacturer of moving glass walls and windows that bring indoor and outdoor spaces together, recently unveiled it has been named the exclusive window and door provider for The New American Home 2025, the flagship exhibit for the International Builders’ Show (IBS).

Located at 7 Stoneshead Court in Henderson, Nevada, and just 26 minutes from the Las Vegas Convention Center where IBS will be held, the two-story luxury home features over 9,423 square feet of living space and offers 360-degree views.

Several products from Western Window Systems outfit all the luxury home’s living spaces, which consist of the main house, casita, and basement wine cellar. Products used include the Series 600 Multi-Slide Door from the company’s classic line, the Series 600 Sliding Glass Door, and the Series 600 Fixed Window/Window Wall, among others.

“The products chosen from Western Window Systems played a pivotal role in achieving the architectural vision of seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces,” said Brian Leizerowicz, Vice President of Sales for Western Window Systems. “Every detail of the home was carefully designed to maximize its breathtaking views. A premium lot calls for a premium view, and these products not only enhance the design, but also perfectly frame the surrounding beauty.”

Throughout the homebuilding process, architectural decisions were made to maximize the natural light of the home while not detracting from the uninterrupted views and overall open aesthetic of the home. An example of this using Western Window Systems products included using windows and doors at their maximum height possible, burying the frames in the floor and walls to minimize visibility of frame and maximize the amount of glass, and then adding transoms above the windows and doors to use the least amount of wall as possible.

The home has achieved National Green Building Standard Emerald certification, ENERGY STAR certification, Indoor airPLUS certification, DOE’s Zero Energy Ready Home Program certification and net-zero status. Additionally, the products selected from Western Window Systems help contribute to achieving higher energy efficiency within the home using thermally broken frames and high-performance, argon-filled, Low-E insulated glass units.

Sun West Custom Homes completed construction on the luxury home in December 2024. It will be showcased at the NAHB International Builders’ Show on February 25 - 27, 2025.
