Launched earlier this year, Roam has already helped thousands of people explore new cities, plan trips, and connect with locals ahead of their arrival. Typically offered at $5.99 per hour, this December, users can experience the freedom and excitement of Roam at no cost, sponsored by ViiV Healthcare.

To get started, open Grindr, navigate to the sidetray, tap “Roam,” select any destination, and activate the feature. Your profile will appear on the local grid in that area, letting others know you’re visiting virtually and ready to connect—whether you’re planning a trip, preparing to move, or simply curious about life in a different destination.
