Airbyte Launches Enterprise-Grade Data Connectors for Oracle Databases and Workday

Fully-supported connectors enable enterprises to easily and securely move data for analytics and artificial intelligence

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Airbyte, the leading open data movement platform, today announced the availability of data connectors for Oracle databases and Workday for large-scale, high-performance, secure and reliable movement of data for users of Airbyte Self-Managed Enterprise and Airbyte Teams.

The connectors are built and maintained by Airbyte to provide enhanced capabilities and support for critical enterprise systems, making it possible to move data in minutes to data warehouses, lakes, or (vector) databases. The Oracle connector also supports Change Data Capture (CDC) – a process that identifies and tracks changes to a database and delivers only those changes, for greater efficiency and significant time savings.

“With the vast amounts of data in Oracle databases and Workday, it has been among our top priorities to deliver a production-ready connector so that data can be shared and easily moved with confidence,” said Michel Tricot, co-founder and CEO, Airbyte. “Following the launch of Airbyte 1.0 in September delivering significant enterprise capabilities, these new enterprise-grade connectors give customers unprecedented opportunities to exploit data and integrate with cutting-edge technologies, like vector databases for AI workloads.”

As one of the most widely used databases globally, Oracle DB is critical to enterprise operations across industries. Airbyte’s Oracle connector is for enterprise-grade data integration, and delivers the following features:

  • Captures database changes using log-based CDC techniques, efficiently detecting updates, inserts, and deletes directly from transaction logs.
  • Supports schema propagation, checkpointing, and resumable syncs for enterprise-grade reliability.
  • Includes enterprise-grade security features like encryption and PII masking to ensure compliance.

Airbyte’s Workday connector is built to streamline integration with Workday’s ERP system. Key features include the following:

  • Directly integrates with Workday APIs to extract structured ERP data for human resources, finance, and operations workflows.
  • Supports access to Workday Reports-as-a-Service (RaaS) to pull custom and pre-made reports for sensitive and compliant datasets.
  • Offers configurable incremental and full sync modes, enabling customers to tailor ingestion to their performance and data needs.
  • Integrates with Airbyte’s platform and capabilities to manage data pipeline, orchestration, and governance.

By supporting both incremental and full sync modes, the connectors offer organizations the ability to tailor data ingestion to their specific performance and compliance needs, ensuring secure governance of sensitive data at every stage.
