Travelers Institute Announces Wednesdays with Woodward® Winter Webinar Schedule

Topics to feature wildfire risk reduction and trends in the labor market, geopolitics and the economy

(NYSE: TRV), today announced its Wednesdays with Woodward winter webinar schedule. The webinar series, hosted by Joan Woodward, President of the Travelers Institute and Executive Vice President of Public Policy at Travelers, features thought leaders from both the public and private sectors discussing pressing issues for companies and consumers at the intersection of insurance, business and public policy.

  • Dec. 4: “Labor Market Outlook: A Conversation with LinkedIn® Economist Dr. Kory Kantenga” Kory Kantenga, Ph.D., Head of Economics for the Americas at LinkedIn®, will examine how the economic and demographic changes that are shaping labor markets in the U.S. and beyond could impact hiring and retention strategies in 2025.
  • Dec. 11: “Reducing Wildfire Risks One Tree at a Time” – Jad Daley, President and CEO of American Forests, and Michael Klein, Executive Vice President and President of Personal Insurance at Travelers, will review the impact of wildfires in the U.S., with a special focus on forests, including responsible reforestation, creating defensible space, and other approaches to reducing wildfire risk.
  • Jan. 15: “2025 U.S. Economic Outlook with Moody’s Chief Economist Dr. Mark Zandi” – Dr. Mark Zandi, Chief Economist at Moody’s Analytics, will discuss important trends impacting the economic landscape, such as consumer spending, labor markets, inflation, tax rates and real estate.
  • Feb. 5: “Geopolitical Risks for the New Administration with RAND’s Senior Political Scientist Michael Mazarr” – Michael Mazarr, Senior Political Scientist at RAND, will discuss the business impacts of today’s geopolitical risks, global hot spots and pressing foreign policy issues.
