Object First Promotes Kelly Wells to Chief Operating Officer

Business leader with extensive IT channel experience to scale business operations and enable rapid growth

BEVERLY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Object First, the creator of Ootbi (Out-of-the-Box-Immutability), the ransomware-proof backup storage appliance purpose-built for Veeam®, today announced the promotion of Kelly Wells to Chief Operating Officer. With a track record of helping organizations scale for rapid growth, Wells will drive operational excellence across Object First’s business operations, sales and marketing operations, HR, IT, and customer success organizations.

With over 18 years in IT, Kelly spent the past year leading Object First's Global Operations Organization before stepping into her new role as Chief Operating Officer. Since joining the company in 2023, she has overseen all aspects of hardware manufacturing and distribution, from product procurement and configuration to ensuring reliable fulfillment through our distribution channels.

Before joining Object First, Wells served as Vice President of Customer Success and Enablement at Axcient, where she developed a cohesive customer success strategy that aligned objectives and metrics across the organization, enhancing client engagement and satisfaction. Prior to Axcient, she held several executive positions at Webroot that included leading customer development and global sales strategy, transforming complex challenges into streamlined processes. Earlier in her career, as a management consultant at Accenture, she delivered strategic project management solutions for high-profile clients, laying a strong foundation for her operational leadership.
