Generational Brand Ambassadors Tom Watson, Justin Leonard and Anna Davis Join 10th Annual “The Generational Salute – A Tribute to Our Troops”

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Generational Group, a leading investment banking firm for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce it is once again the title sponsor for the 10th annual Generational Salute – A Tribute to Our Troops. The fundraising event and golf tournament will be held at Bent Tree Country Club in Dallas, Texas on November 6th and 7th.

Generational Brand Ambassadors—legendary golfer, Tom Watson, PGA TOUR Champions professional, Justin Leonard, and rising amateur star, Anna Davis will join other special guests in Dallas to celebrate Veterans Day and to honor our nation's armed forces.

In April, Tom Watson entered into a strategic endorsement agreement with Generational Group as a brand ambassador, joining Justin Leonard and Anna Davis. Widely regarded as one of the greatest golfers in history, Watson won 39 times on the PGA TOUR, including eight major championships, placing him sixth on the all-time list of major championship victories.

Along with Watson, Justin Leonard is an American professional golfer with 12 career wins on the PGA TOUR, including one major, the 1997 Open Championship. He currently plays on the PGA TOUR Champions. He is one of only five players to win the U.S. Amateur, the NCAA Individual Championship, and a major golf tournament championship.

Anna Davis is an American amateur golfer who made headlines in April 2022 when she won the third Augusta National Women’s Amateur at just 16 years old. Davis is a U.S. Curtis Cup player and currently plays collegiate golf at Auburn University. She has already claimed two individual college titles in her career and is currently Top 5 in the world amateur golf rankings.

Since 2015, Bent Tree has hosted the annual Salute to our Troops event to honor service men and women and raise funds for post-9/11 veterans who need more help than is provided by the Veterans Administration. The objective of this fundraising event is to help fund foundations that provide housing, ramps, service dogs, specialized care for mental health, PTSD, and traumatic brain injuries, among many other services to our veterans.

Generational is delighted to, once more, be the title sponsor for the event. The festivities will begin on Wednesday, November 6^th with a VIP party for Generational guests, dinner, and a live auction. Thursday’s auction will commence with an inspiring patriotic presentation of colors and opening ceremonies to precede the golf competition with a shotgun start. At the conclusion of the tournament, an awards ceremony will provide a festive recap of the day’s events.

In addition to Feherty's Troops First Foundation, this year’s donations will benefit Defenders of Freedom, Northern Texas PGA HOPE, and Folds of Honor. All four foundations focus on improving the lives of our nation’s military heroes by delivering critically needed services.
