Essential Utilities Recognized as Champion of Board Diversity by the Forum of Executive Women

BRYN MAWR, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Essential Utilities (NYSE: WTRG) is honored as a Champion of Board Diversity by The Forum of Executive Women for the sixth time since 2017. Essential is one of 46 companies from the Greater Philadelphia area recognized for paving the way for gender equity.

The Forum annually analyzes the leadership of the top 100 public companies in the region and recognizes companies with at least 30 percent of their respective boards comprised of women as Champions of Board Diversity.

The Forum of Executive Women, founded in 1977, is a membership organization that unites more than 600 senior female leaders from various sectors to empower women's influence in the workplace throughout the region.
