OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Federman & Sherwood investigates Easterseals Central Illinois (“Easterseals”) for data breach. On October 15, 2024, Easterseals filed notice of a data breach with the Attorney General of Maine. Easterseals experienced a cybersecurity incident disrupting their network on April 1, 2024. Easterseals immediately launched an investigation into the incident. On October 7, 2024, after a review of the investigation’s findings, it was determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to Easterseals network and accessed certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information.
