BTIG Welcomes Sumon Chaudhuri to Expand Energy Investment Banking Coverage

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BTIG announced today that Sumon Chaudhuri has joined the firm as a Managing Director within its Energy, Infrastructure and Transportation Investment Banking group. Mr. Chaudhuri will collaborate with existing banking and product teams to offer strategic advisory services across all sub-verticals within the energy industry including traditional oil and gas, clean technology and energy transition. Sumon will be based in Houston and will also have regional banking coverage responsibilities in Texas.

Mr. Chaudhuri brings more than 15 years of experience to BTIG. Most recently, he was a Managing Director in Bank of America Securities’ energy practice in Houston where he broadly covered energy with a specialty in the midstream sub-vertical and provided M&A and capital markets advisory services. Prior to that, Mr. Chaudhuri provided investment banking services within Jefferies’ energy practice in Houston.
