DLA, LLC Announces October 1, 2024, Team Member Promotions

FAIRFIELD, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DLA is proud to announce that Emma Schweigert has been promoted to Internal Recruiter and Campus Recruitment Coordinator and Tye Doty has been promoted to Senior Manager in our Accounting Advisory department.

Emma has over four years of experience in recruiting and has been a key contributor to DLA’s full lifecycle recruitment, from sourcing through to offer negotiation. Emma has been particularly important to hiring managers by fully understanding position requirements and creating defined hiring strategies. And in supporting DLA’s commitment to an employee first culture Emma also works with candidates to negotiate fair and competitive offers.

Prior to joining DLA, Emma was employed by LevelUp HCS and Open Systems Healthcare.

Tye has nearly 10 years of experience and his past clients include a multitude of public and private companies in varying industries including oil & gas, life sciences/biotechnology, manufacturing services, environmental services, construction and engineering, and insurance.

Tye has helped companies in accounting and financial reporting matters including the implementation of ASC 842, Leases, ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers, the preparation of financial statements and other Securities and Exchange Commission’s Filings, accounting for business combinations, accounting for bankruptcies, impairment analysis, accounting for complex financial instruments, as well as assisted with the design and testing of internal controls over financial reporting.

Prior to joining DLA, Tye was employed by Ernst & Young, LLP and BDO USA, LLP in Houston, Texas where he assisted clients with a wide variety of technical accounting issues.
