AE Industrial Appoints Former U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Leonard Dollaga as a Managing Director

Joins the firm following extensive military career, including strategic and diplomatic roles in the U.S. Navy

BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AE Industrial Partners, LP (“AE Industrial”), a private equity firm specializing in National Security, Aerospace, and Industrial Services, announced today the appointment of Rear Admiral (Ret.) Leonard ‘Butch’ Dollaga as a Managing Director.

Dollaga joins the firm following a career of more than 30 years in the United States Navy. He most recently served as the Chief of Legislative Affairs for the Department of the Navy, where he was the principal advisor to the Secretary of the Navy and the Chief of Naval Operations. He also played a key role in securing domestic support for the Presidential Tri-Lateral AUKUS security partnership between the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Previously he was a Commander for Submarine Group 7 and Commander for the Undersea Warfighting Development Center. In these roles he led the development of enhanced undersea warfighting capabilities across the globe, building synergy among the aviation, surface, and submarine warfare communities, as well as strengthening ties with Allies and Partners in the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans.
