Hillsdale College Ranked 50th Among National Liberal Arts Colleges

HILLSDALE, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--U.S. News & World Report announced its 2025 top college rankings on Sept. 24, and Hillsdale College was named 50th among National Liberal Arts Colleges.

“The College works to offer our students an education that encourages the pursuit of virtue and the love of learning,” said Christopher VanOrman, Hillsdale College provost. “It’s a great joy to have our work at Hillsdale recognized on the national level once again.”

Among national liberal arts colleges, Hillsdale ranked fourth for first-year retention rate and seventh for financial resources.

Hillsdale College has been ranked in the top 100 best liberal arts colleges by U.S. News and World Report each year since 2013. This is one among the College’s national awards, which include an A+ for financial health in the Forbes College Financial Grades and a place on The Princeton Review’s list of The Best 390 Colleges.
