MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Materion Corporation (NYSE: MTRN), a global leader in advanced materials solutions, announced today the appointment of Jason Moore as President of Precision Optics. In this role, Jason will lead the Precision Optics business segment, which produces customized optical and thin-film coatings and components that enable advances across several megatrend-aligned industries including space and defense, life sciences, industrial, semiconductor and automotive. The business unit includes five manufacturing sites across the U.S., Europe and Asia. Materion Balzers Optics delivers next-generation optics solutions that enable innovations including solutions for Industry 4.0, semiconductor inspection, virtual/augmented reality, autonomous driving technologies, advanced optical systems for advanced driver assistance systems and head-up displays.
