James Campbell Company Expands U.S. Mainland Portfolio With Strategic Acquisition in Dallas’ Alliance Submarket

KAPOLEI, Hawaii--(BUSINESS WIRE)--James Campbell Company (JCC), a $5B private, Hawai‘i-based real estate investment company with origins that date back to 1860, has announced the acquisition of Westport Parkway Logistics Center, consisting of two Class A+ industrial properties totaling 882,565 square feet, located within the Alliance Global Logistics Hub in Dallas, Texas. This significant investment reflects JCC’s ongoing efforts to diversify its portfolio, enhancing long-term financial stability.

“The addition of the Westport Parkway Logistics Hub is part of our strategy to strengthen JCC’s overall portfolio, helping us create value that is complementary to our Hawai‘i operations and developments,” said Kevin Penn, president & CEO of James Campbell Company. “We continue to work on improving our portfolio long-term through investments in key markets like Dallas that offer strong growth potential and income opportunities.”

The purchase of the Westport Parkway Logistics Hub follows JCC’s recent sales of assets in South Dallas and Milwaukee, moves that allowed the company to reinvest capital strategically into one of the nation’s most dynamic industrial markets. The Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area continues to experience strong demand and growth, making it an ideal location for JCC to build a robust, diversified portfolio.

Located at 402 and 504 Westport Parkway, the Westport Parkway Logistics Center offers strategic access to major transportation routes, providing desirable connectivity for both regional and national distribution tenants. It features modern, state-of-the-art industrial properties with market-leading specifications, such as 32 to 36-foot clear heights, multiple points of entry and dedicated circulation for trucks, an 173 additional trailer staging spaces which is highly coveted by bulk users within the Alliance submarket.

While JCC’s investments in U.S. mainland markets enhance its financial strength, the company remains deeply committed to Hawai‘i. From its headquarters in Kapolei, JCC manages a diverse portfolio that spans 12 states and Washington, D.C., with a focus on delivering value back to Hawai‘i through careful investment and management.
