25-year marketing executive has proven track record of translating growth strategies into actionable marketing programs that deliver business results

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Black & Veatch has announced that Ashley Davidson has joined the company as senior vice president and chief marketing officer (CMO) to streamline how the company’s clients make their best-informed capital investment decisions in sustainable infrastructure and rely on their partnerships with Black & Veatch for innovative engineering and construction solutions.

In her role, Davidson will spearhead the company’s global marketing strategy with responsibility for amplifying the Black & Veatch brand and communicating how the employee-owned company’s professionals deliver differentiated value through projects, services and consultancy. She will support commercial growth and client engagement through omnichannel marketing to create a consistent brand experience for clients across multiple industries.

“Ashley brings a new level of enterprise marketing excellence, leadership and passion to connect with and guide our clients with proven ways to deal with the world’s macro issues of energy resiliency, abundant water, clean transportation and expanding AI cloud compute capacity to help us grow around the world,” said Patrick Hogan, Black & Veatch chief client officer and Enterprise Evolution leader. “We’re looking to Ashley to raise the bar on data-driven, performance marketing with the targeted content and thought leadership to support the next generation of infrastructure operators and investors.”

Prior to that, she held marketing executive roles of increasing responsibility at Cerner Corporation (now Oracle Health) for 22 years, most recently serving as its vice president, integrated marketing and client experiences.

“Black & Veatch is extremely well known across the engineering and construction verticals. But our brand story resonates more broadly as a pioneer of technology and innovative advancements delivering sustainable, enduring infrastructure for businesses, communities and populations worldwide. I look forward to leading a team that fuels the next generation of growth at BV and communicates how our diverse capabilities advance the brand,” said Davidson.

Davidson earned a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from The University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri.
