Platform Science Achieves ISO 27001 Certification

Internationally recognized standard demonstrates Platform Science’s commitment to ensuring highest standards of data security

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Platform Science, the leading edge application platform for transportation, announced today that it has achieved the ISO 27001 certification of its information security management system supporting infrastructure and services used to support the development, operations, maintenance, and delivery of the Platform Science Connected Vehicle and Cloud portal applications within the U.S.

ISO 27001 is a globally recognized standard for the establishment and operation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS). In order to achieve the certification, a company must show it has a systematic and ongoing approach to managing sensitive company and customer information.

“We are committed to ensuring the highest standards of data security and achieving the ISO 27001 is another example of this,” said Andrew Blocksidge, Vice President of Information Technology, Platform Science. “We are committed to continually inspiring the trust and confidence of our valued customers. Having third party validations including the ISO 27001 and other certifications like SOC2 Type 2, for which Platform Science has been certified since 2020, is an important way to demonstrate our recognized best practices around data integrity, availability and confidentiality.”
