Texas Legal Awards Names Anna Greenberg as Finalist for Influential Woman of the Year

2024 honors recognize those who have shaped the Texas legal landscape

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Trial boutique Blizzard Greenberg is pleased to announce that name partner Anna Greenberg has been named by Law.com and Texas Lawyer as a Texas Legal Awards finalist for Influential Woman of the Year.

The annual Texas Legal Awards celebrates the state’s trailblazing attorneys who the publications describe as having left an “indelible mark on the legal landscape of Texas,” shaping the law and achieving extraordinary outcomes on behalf of clients.

Ms. Greenberg holds accountable negligent companies that fail to establish or adhere to safety policies, resulting in devastating physical and emotional injuries and consequences for consumers and women. Following a record $44.6 million verdict against Hilton, which she and firm founder Ed Blizzard won in 2021, Ms. Greenberg enhanced the firm’s civil litigation practice related to such sexual assault cases, spearheading a groundbreaking practice focused on hotel sexual assaults.

The firm’s hotel sexual assault practice was featured in Texas Lawyer’s inaugural Watch List, which recognizes the accomplishments of law firms that the publication says “should be on everybody's radar.”

Ms. Greenberg’s practice started with successfully taking on some of the travel industry’s biggest players and has since expanded to cases against national chains such as Massage Envy, Dollar Tree and Lyft, securing favorable outcomes and settlements on behalf of sexual assault victims across the state.

“I’m very honored that the publications recognized me as a finalist,” Ms. Greenberg says. “Every day, I’m grateful that I get to be an advocate for these women.”

Routinely acknowledged within the legal industry, Ms. Greenberg has garnered a national reputation for her advocacy. She has earned repeat recognition from the industry’s most distinguished legal guides, including The Best Lawyers in America, Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars, Lawdragon and others. She was also named to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 list.

The Influential Woman of the Year winner will be announced in October.
