Cushman & Wakefield Hires Industry Veteran Miles Treaster as Head of Capital Markets

CRE executive returns to Cushman & Wakefield to strengthen platform for next chapter of growth across the Americas

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) today announced the hiring of Miles Treaster as President, Capital Markets, Americas, adding proven institutional real estate debt and equity capital markets and investment expertise to the firm’s executive leadership team.

In this critical role, Treaster will oversee all operations and shape the long-term vision of the Capital Markets group, building upon the best-in-class service and insights it provides to investor clients. He will also focus on strengthening the Capital Markets platform and driving scalable growth through the strategic integration and pairing of AI technology and data. Treaster will join the firm effective September 1, 2024, and will be based in San Francisco.

Treaster will also oversee the company’s investor services business across all markets in North and South America. In addition, he will focus on accelerating and maximizing Cushman & Wakefield’s technology and data capabilities as part of the firm’s expanded expertise and growth trajectory.

Treaster has more than 20 years of experience in institutional real estate debt and equity capital markets with an extensive background in acquisitions, structured finance, management and disposition of office, multifamily, industrial, retail and hotel asset classes.

Treaster previously served as a founding partner of Five Horizons, a real estate investment and advisory firm, where he raised investment funds for various clients including Limited Partners and high-net-worth individuals – and was responsible for growing their business and tracking multiple investments across geographies. Prior to that, Treaster served in leadership roles at Westbrook Partners and DRA Advisory LLC as managing principal and managing director respectively. Early in his career, Treaster was part of Cushman & Wakefield's investment sales group in San Francisco.

Treaster holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California and is a member of the Realtors Commercial Alliance (RCA), Urban Land Institute (ULI) and NAIOP.
