FreeCast Enables Net Connect USA to Bring Affordable Live Local & Streaming TV to Multi-Family Housing Developments

A robust free video offering and dedicated custom channel make FreeCast a fit for MDUs.

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FreeCast is announcing a partnership with Net Connect USA LLC, bringing FreeCast’s low-cost Live Local & Streaming integrated TV solution to multi-family housing developments. FreeCast is home to a robust offering of free content, including OTA live local broadcast networks, hundreds of free FAST channels and thousands of ad-supported TV episodes and movies on-demand. Users of the free service can also add on streaming subscriptions or purchase pay-per-view video, tailoring their experience to their preferences and budgets. This flexibility makes FreeCast an ideal option for affordable housing developments, as it’s inexpensive to deploy and can cost as little as nothing to the end user.

Net Connect is a broadband provider and installation network serving the Eastern Seaboard and Midwest. Net Connect properties will also be among the first to take advantage of a dedicated custom streaming channel, allowing the property managers to communicate important information and special offers to tenants via a 24/7 streaming channel on the service. Launch of the service is set to begin later this year with various pilot properties, totaling approximately 1000 units in the New York City and Atlanta metro areas. Followed by a full rollout across Net Connect’s service areas in 2025 reaching over 50,000 units.

William Mobley, FreeCast’s CEO, discussed the partnership with Net Connect: “This is a deal that makes a lot of sense all around. FreeCast is designed to be flexible and affordable, both to the consumer using the service, and to deploy. This makes it a great fit for Net Connect’s properties, and for households on a tight budget. We’re excited that we can offer a strong and free selection of content to these residents, as well as some really cool and powerful features for the property management.”
