BTIG Investment Banking Welcomes Michael Baisley to Elevate Strategic Advisory Offering

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BTIG announced today that Michael Baisley has joined the firm as a Managing Director in its Investment Banking group enhancing the firm's capabilities in cross-border transactions and bolstering its mid-market sponsor network. Mr. Baisley will be based in the firm’s New York office and will work closely with the M&A and Equity Capital Markets teams across BTIG’s global locations.

Mr. Baisley has more than twenty years of experience in investment banking, coupled with a rich background in M&A involving Japanese and other Asian clients, bringing invaluable expertise to BTIG. He joins BTIG from SMBC Nikko Securities (Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation) where he served as Head of M&A for the Americas. Previously, he was a Managing Director of TrueNorth Capital Partners and served as the head of its securities business. Prior to that, he was with Knox & Co., an affiliate of Mitsubishi UFJ Securities, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
