The Kemper Foundation Releases 2024 Community Impact Report

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Kemper Foundation, together with Kemper Corporation (NYSE: KMPR), announced the publication of the 2024 Community Impact Report, detailing $3.1 million in total community impact.

The report highlights support for key initiatives and community partners in Kemper’s three primary areas of support – education, health and community development. Also included are details of the Kemper Cares volunteer and ambassador programs, which encourage employees to invest their time in the communities where our employees and customers live and work, and Kemper’s Matching Gift program.

Highlights of the 2024 report include:

  • Education: $1.5 million in scholarships and grants through the Kemper Scholars Program, and $300,000 in grants to public and charter schoolteachers through our Read Conmigo bilingual educator program.
  • Health: $1.1 million in collective support to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and Breakthrough T1D.
  • Community Development: $377,000 to UnidosUS, the National Urban League, and Feeding America’s partner food banks.
  • The Kemper Matching Gift Program: $156,000 in employee donations and company matches for charitable contributions.
