Travelers Launches Advertisement Series Inspired by True Stories

HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV) today launched a new advertisement series based on real customer experiences. The series builds on the company’s 2023 “Who Cares?” campaign, which introduced Travelers’ first brand manifesto, organized around the idea that remarkable things happen when people care.

“The idea that remarkable things happen when people care is at the core of who we are at Travelers and the impact that we seek to have in the world,” said Alan Schnitzer, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Travelers. “We believe in the power of shared purpose to unite people across distance and differences and the positive impact it can have on our communities.”

The new advertisements, which can be viewed here, are inspired by true stories, highlighting the compassion and dedication shown by the company’s claim professionals. Below are descriptions of each:

  • Cyber tells the story of a small-business owner whose bank account was emptied by cyber hackers and the claim professional who understood that when it comes to cybercrime, time is of the essence.
  • Golf tells the story of a young man who was injured on a job site and a Travelers employee who went above and beyond to help get him back to work – and back to playing the game that he loves.
  • Dog tells the story of a customer whose dog was lost following a car accident and the claim professional who wouldn’t give up until he saw them reunited.

“These advertisements showcase claim experiences through the eyes of our customers, illustrating the emotional and tangible impact of exceptional service,” said Lisa Caputo, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing, Communications and Customer Experience Officer of Travelers. “Each story underscores our commitment to taking care of the people we are privileged to serve and the profound effects of leading with both empathy and excellence.”

The first advertisement in the series to air will be Dog on Sunday, June 16, during the final round of the U.S. Open on NBC. The other commercials will first air on the Golf Channel on Thursday, June 20, during the first day of competition at the Travelers Championship. All three ads also will air on CBS during the weekend of the Travelers Championship, June 22 and 23.
