Katherine brings valuable experience from Bessemer Venture Partners, Palladium Equity Partners and Wells Fargo Securities

ALEXANDRIA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--QED Investors, a leading global venture capital firm focused on investing in disruptive financial services companies, today announced the hiring of Katherine Tercek.

Katherine joins QED to head investor relations where she will be responsible for QED’s fundraising strategy to fuel the franchise that has been built over the past 17 years. She will be responsible for managing all limited partner relationships – existing and in the future.

“We’re delighted to have Katherine join to lead our partnering with LPs as QED grows and rides the wave of a global fintech revolution,” said QED Investors Managing Partner Nigel Morris.

“We are now at threshold scale with a global portfolio, a broad team and a leading brand that makes us the fintech VC firm of preference for fintech founders and LPs alike. Katherine will continue to strengthen our terrific relationships with our valued existing LPs while forming meaningful, lasting new connections with asset allocators globally.”

Previously, Katherine was a senior associate on the investor relations team at Bessemer Venture Partners where she focused on management of limited partner relationships and fundraising.

Prior to Bessemer Venture Partners, Katherine worked at Palladium Equity Partners and at Wells Fargo Securities.

“I’m delighted to join QED and further the firm’s capital formation efforts,” Katherine said. “I look forward to building enduring limited partner relationships globally in support of QED’s mission to drive innovation in financial services.”

In May 2023, QED closed nearly $1 billion in new funds between an oversubscribed $650 million eighth early stage fund and a $275 million second growth-stage fund.
