Porter Connects to More of Newfoundland With Inaugural Service Between Halifax - Deer Lake

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Porter Airlines is connecting Halifax and Deer Lake, NL, with daily roundtrip service beginning today.

Halifax-Deer Lake will be served by the 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400. With two-by-two seating, there are no middle seats on any Porter flight. All Porter flights offer free premium snacks and complimentary beer and wine for every passenger. PorterReserve passengers enjoy extra legroom, priority check-in and boarding, and ticketing flexibility on all flights.

A gateway to Gros Morne National Park in Western Newfoundland, Deer Lake provides access to some of Canada’s most iconic attractions. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a landscape formed by glaciers and seismic activity millions of years ago. Contrasting lush fjords and barren red earth represent the best of natural extremes. Whether it’s climbing to the highest mountain peak in Newfoundland, or driving the scenic Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia, Deer Lake and Halifax are ideal destinations for summer travel.
