DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Generational Group, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisory firm for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce the sale of its client Kosmos Q, LLC to L2 Capital. The closing was first announced on May 3, 2024.

Kosmos Q, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, sells world champion barbecue rubs, injections, marinades, glazes, and wing dust via its Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) website in addition to Amazon sales, wholesale customers, such as Wal-Mart, Ace Hardware, Buc-ee’s, Scheels, and Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s, and a small retail storefront.

The Company was founded and led by President, Darian “Kosmo” Khosravi, who is an all-in-one champion pitmaster, savvy social media marketing guru, and overall barbecue superhero. Darian has retained a meaningful equity stake and will continue leading the business in partnership with L2 Capital.
