According to Finhabits, a bilingual financial wellness platform, over the last 10 years Hispanics’ net wealth increased at a rate of 12.5%, compounded annually (vs. 6.8% for non-Latino Whites). At this growth rate, Hispanics are slated to accumulate $113 trillion dollars of wealth by 2050. By comparison, the total household wealth in the U.S. in 2022 was $140 trillion.

“This designation is important in our industry for a few key reasons. Speaking Spanish demonstrates respect for the client's cultural background and a willingness to understand their unique needs, preferences, and financial goals. It can also foster trust and comfort, which is crucial for discussing matters of personal wealth,” said Dirk Pantone, president of the College, which is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. “With this designation program, financial professionals can ensure personalized strategies, paving the way for stronger financial futures within this dynamic and expanding community.
