FIS Named as One of the Most Trustworthy Companies in America for Second Consecutive Year

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global financial technology leader FIS® (NYSE: FIS) has today announced that it has been recognized by Newsweek and Statista as one of the Most Trustworthy Companies in America for the second consecutive year.

The recognition is a testament to FIS’ reputation for helping clients run, grow, protect, and connect their business with both unparalleled confidence and enduring value. With a client roster encompassing 95% of Forbes World’s Best Banks, 90% of the world’s largest private equity firms, and some of the world’s largest asset managers, investment banks and corporations, FIS takes pride in the fact that many of its client relationships span decades and multiple generations of technology. As clients continue to benefit from FIS’ strategic union of thoughtful innovation, strict regulatory compliance, and a deep commitment to client-centric decision-making, the award also highlights the extent to which global economies rely on FIS to advance their digital transformation.

“FIS’ inclusion on this list is a direct result of our commitment to unlocking innovative, reliable and compliant technology that powers the financial world,” said Stephanie Ferris, President and Chief Executive Officer at FIS. “Seeing our customers, investors, and employees trust us to deliver on our promise is truly humbling and inspiring. FIS is grateful for the honor and we congratulate all of our peers on the 2024 list.”

The Most Trustworthy Companies program considered all companies headquartered in the US with a revenue of at least $500 million. Results were built from a survey canvassing 25,000 US residents, each of which were asked to rate companies they knew based on the criteria of customer trust, investor trust, and employee trust. A total of 97,000 evaluations were submitted and later cross-examined against a social listening program that evaluated each company’s average sentiment of mentions online.

The full 2024 list includes 700 companies across 23 industries and can be seen here.
