CoStar Group Announces Winners of 2024 CoStar Impact Awards

Winners were selected by a panel of more than 660 esteemed industry professionals across 128 international markets

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP), a leading provider of online real estate marketplaces, information, and analytics in the property markets, today announced the winners of the 2024 CoStar Impact Awards.

The 2024 CoStar Impact Awards recognize exemplary commercial real estate transactions and projects completed in 2023 that have significantly influenced neighborhoods or submarkets across 128 major international markets in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

The awards recognized over 380 winners across five categories: Lease of the Year, Sale/Acquisition of the Year, Commercial Development of the Year, Multifamily Development of the Year and Redevelopment of the Year. Winning transactions and projects—chosen for their impact on the vibrancy, economic activity, growth, diversification and innovation of their markets—were selected from a panel of more than 660 industry professionals drawn from each respective market.

“Now in its third year, the CoStar Impact Awards are an incredible opportunity to recognize the real estate projects fundamentally transforming the industry landscape,” said Andy Florance, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CoStar Group. “Our diverse panel of judges worked diligently to identify the most impactful commercial real estate projects across a range of categories that are shaping the future of the industry and the communities in which they serve. It’s an honor to recognize the companies and projects propelling the real estate sector forward.”

Notable winning entries for this year included One Madison Avenue, which was named the winner of the Redevelopment of the Year category in the New York City market. The building is a 27-floor, 1.4 million-square-foot office tower in the heart of Midtown South and adjacent to Madison Square Park. Judges praised the project's ability to develop a design that respects the building’s rich history while creating a new architectural paradigm and expanding health and wellness amenities with a rooftop event space, lounge area and a brand-new Chelsea Piers fitness center.

Another notable entry from this year was 2100 M St, an office-to-residential conversion awarded with CoStar’s Sale/Acquisition of the Year in the Washington, DC market. Currently a vacant 301,000-square-foot office building, 2100 M St represents the second-largest office-to-residential conversion in Washington, DC and is a unique opportunity to reposition the asset in a highly distinguished location. Judges recognized Post Brothers’ ability to close on this property even with DC’s firm position on office-to-residential conversions.
