MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ) today announced the first-ever opening of the DQ® FREEZER, keeper of all the iconic BLIZZARD® Treats ever created. While the DQ FREEZER has remained a secret for nearly 40 years, the brand is now giving fans a peek behind its doors with the return of two iconic flavors – and the unprecedented opportunity for future re-releases of more than 170 flavors. The Frosted Animal Cookie Blizzard Treat and Brownie Batter Blizzard Treat are coming out of the DQ FREEZER to join this year’s Summer Blizzard Menu.

Because summer doesn’t officially start without a Blizzard Treat, the NEW Summer Blizzard Treat Menu is available at participating locations for a limited time starting April 1. The menu, which features returning flavors and all-new summer flavors, includes:
