Workato’s Gautham Viswanathan Named to Product 50, List of the World’s Most Innovative Product and Growth Leaders

Judges from Amplitude, G2, and Reforge selected Viswanathan as the winner of the Best Product Leader — Midsize Company category

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Workato®, the leading AI-powered enterprise automation platform, announced that Gautham Viswanathan, co-founder and Chief Product Officer, has been named to the Product 50, the definitive list of the top global product leaders. Gautham sits at the helm of Workato’s enterprise automation platform and in June 2023, he played an integral role in the development of Workato’s new generative AI-powered platform, AI@Work. While businesses have rushed to adopt AI technologies, AI@Work helps empower technical and non-technical business users across Workato’s platform to build integrations and automations, which was significantly accelerated and simplified with the inclusion of generative AI in the platform.

Product 50 recognizes the leaders who are developing boundary-breaking, business-making products. The individuals recognized in this year’s Product 50 are those who prioritize innovation, buck trends, forge cross-functional relationships, and think of outcomes, not just outputs. They are pioneering digital-first products, transforming age-old companies into it-players, and advising the most successful teams through the product development process.

This year, Product 50 received more than 600 submissions on behalf of product and growth leaders across the globe. Categories included Most Admired Product Leader; Best Product Leader (Large, Midsize, and Small Company); Most Promising Product Up-and-Comer; Best Growth Product Leader; Best Digital Transformation Product Leader; Best Product Design Leader; Best Product Industry Influencer; and Best Social Good Product Leader.

The panel of judges consisted of Francois Ajenstat, Chief Product Officer, Amplitude; Sara Rossio, Chief Product Officer, G2; and Tom Willerer, COO, Reforge. Judges selected the winners and runners-up based on the criteria of innovation, business impact, diversity, and influence. Gautham joins the Product 50 list alongside leaders from Delta Airlines, Figma, Google, IBM, Salesforce, and more.

“Digital products are no longer things we deliver; they are the key to unlocking business growth. This means product and growth teams sit at the core of business transformation today,” says Francois Ajenstat, Chief Product Officer at Amplitude. “The quality of these nominations makes it clear that the future of product innovation is already here. I’m confident the incredible product and growth leaders on this year’s list will become the business leaders of tomorrow.”

“One of the biggest challenges facing product teams is keeping up with rapid technological advances and creating differentiated solutions that address ever-changing customer needs. The emergence of LLMs is an excellent example of rapid change that has upended roadmaps across our industry,” said Viswanathan. “I am honored to be included on this list of product leaders who have a deep understanding of what it means to push boundaries and deliver innovative products for our customers.”
